My dog is limping after an incident with a cat ….?

After chasing my dog a cat and put her hand on it (no apparent injury cat), my dog is lame. The cat scatched my dogs leg, on the joint, and I wiped the inujury cold water, but why my dog box? Any opther suggest to help my dog wounds?

He may have pulled a muscle in the chase, the cat's claws have infected in May (Use anti-bacterial soap next time), he may have struck the leg, or something worse would have happened. Keep an eye on him, if not cleared up in a few days, call your veterinarian.
