Help in selecting grass seed … PLEASE!?
I dug up a concrete sidewalk old last summer, has filled the hole with soil and planted the seed, which grows and grew several inches (it has been cut several times before winter). But my little dog wanders into the yard like crazy and she tore the grass til now the only thing thats left is dirt. I guess the grass seed is not too rustic (little or no roots). Any suggestions on a type of grass that can resist his yard sprints? I live in the U.S. Midwest. Thank you!
I suggest buying a high traffic mix cold climate that includes a high percentage of fescue and ryegrass with a little Kentucky bluegrass Tempermental more. Get grass seed soon (assuming you do not place setting a herbicide), or you must wait until September.
